Privacy Policy

Draft pending legal review. This policy is being reviewed by our team before it becomes final. If you have a question about your data in the meantime, email hello@pedal-performance.com.

1. Who we are

This website, pedal-performance.com ("Pedal," "we," "us," or "our"), is operated by Pearmill Inc. (d/b/a Pedal). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at hello@pedal-performance.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us. When you submit a form or book a call, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company or practice name, and anything you write in a message field.
• Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners collect usage data through cookies and similar technologies. This can include your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring source, and the marketing campaign or click identifiers (for example UTM parameters and ad click IDs) that brought you to the site.
• Information from booking and form tools. When you book a meeting through our scheduling tool, that tool processes the information needed to schedule and confirm your appointment.

We do not ask for or intentionally collect sensitive personal information through this site, and we do not collect protected health information through our forms.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, measure how it performs, and support our advertising. You can control non-essential cookies through the cookie banner on this site at any time (see Your choices and rights). The main technologies we use are:

To measure advertising conversions more accurately, we may share a securely hashed (irreversible) version of your email address with Google and Meta when you submit a form or book a call. This is used only to match conversions and is not used to identify you to us in a new way.

4. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule calls, and provide the services you ask about.
• To measure and improve the performance of our website and marketing.
• To show relevant ads and reach similar audiences on Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
• To keep the site secure and operating correctly.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

5. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (these are denied by default for visitors in these regions until you accept them through our cookie banner); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site; and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract when you contact us.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your information for money. We share information with service providers who help us run the site and our marketing, including Google, Meta, Cal.com, Vercel, and our CRM provider (Attio), each acting on our behalf or as described above. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Because we use advertising cookies that share information with Google and Meta to deliver ads across other sites and apps, this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some United States state privacy laws. See Your choices and rights for how to opt out.

7. How long we keep information

We keep the contact details you submit for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, to provide services, unless you ask us to delete them. Analytics data in Google Analytics is retained for up to 14 months. Advertising identifiers are retained according to each platform's standard retention periods.

8. Your choices and rights

• Manage cookies. Use the cookie banner on this site to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can reopen it any time using the "Cookie settings" button and change your choice.
• Opt out of advertising "sale"/"sharing" (United States). If you are a California resident (or in a state with similar rights), you can opt out of the sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising by selecting "Reject non-essential" in our cookie banner.
• Access, correct, or delete (EEA, UK, and others). You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• Withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pedal-performance.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Children's privacy

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
